Once this emergency weather situation has passed, we plan to recommence elective surgery that was suspended due to the COVID-19 response. All patients will be resuming their position on the waiting list.

We understand that waiting for elective surgery can be frustrating and stressful but please be assured that our team is managing waitlists to deliver the best health outcomes for the maximum number of people. Waitlists are managed with a system that makes sure that, in each of the elective surgery categories, those who are waiting longest are seen first.
