Gold Coast Health, in partnership with its Consortia members, are pleased to announce that the new Head to Health Kids Queensland (H2HK-Q) Gold Coast service is now open for referrals.

The H2HK-Q Gold Coast service provides a free secondary mental health and wellbeing service for children under 12. The service is available to those experiencing developmental, mental health, behavioural and emotional challenges that impact on the child and family's ability to function both at home and in their school or social connections.

H2HK-Q Gold Coast aims to provide services to those children and families with multiple challenges that are not currently having their needs met by a service.
H2HK-Q Gold Coast works from multiple locations in the region and aims to see families at a location that is convenient to them.

Referrals can be made, with the family’s consent, via the Head to Health phone line on 1800 595 212 or visit the website.

Referral criteria is available in HealthPathways: Non-acute Child and Youth Mental Health Assessment .
