This is a First Nations service that assists clients with their chronic health conditions. Clients are initially assessed by a clinical nurse in consultation with an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker. Care plans are developed, and the most appropriate are offered according to health need including:

  • Mungulli Exercise Class – weekly gym class
  • Mungulli Multidisciplinary Team Clinic
  • Strong and Deadly Wellness Program – 5-week community-based sessions that incorporate education, gentle physical activity and cultural activities
  • Deadly Tracks Education – half day education sessions
  • Yarn and Walk – weekly education and walking program

All programs are facilitated by an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker, clinical nurse and physiotherapist.
