Smart Referrals is now the preferred method of making a referral into Gold Coast Health outpatient clinics.

Smart Referrals are digital referrals, fully integrated with Best Practice and Medical Director software to enable more streamlined, high quality referrals to hospital services.

If your practice is not compatible with Smart Referrals, we recommend sending a standardised referral template electronically through Medical Objects or HealthLink.
